Love the lights, but are not thrilled with the seller. We have quite a few of these trees purchased directly from a Department 56 store that has since closed. We ordered a quantity that the web site indicated was available for purchase, received a partial shipment and later a notice that the balance of our order would not be filled for lack of inventory. We have had a number of these trees (both the Halloween coloured and those for Xmas), all of which continue to function normally. We aren't sure how long they will last, thus the attempt to buy more.
