I know little about computers. I wanted to be able to use the desktop without having to have our wireless router on all the time. Ordered this, at first it scared me that there was really no instructions. I plugged in the Cat5 from the cable box, ran one cat 5 to desktop, one to wireless router, turned it all back on, and everything works!!! If it's easy enough that I can do it, anyone can.
